Health Care Never Takes a Holiday
BCNU is featuring a new, province-wide advertising campaign this holiday season to highlight nurses’ dedication to their patients, even if it means spending time away from friends and family.
The holidays are an especially busy time for nurses and the entire health-care system. BCNU would like to thank each and every member for their ongoing commitment to provide the best possible care even under challenging working conditions brought on by a systemic nurse shortage and increased patient acuity.
The campaign runs through Jan. 7, and includes ads on television and radio stations across the province. They will also be featured on digital platforms, billboards and on BCNU’s social media channels.
Haven’t seen it yet? Members are encouraged to watch, listen and be on the lookout for the holiday ad and know that their union is here to remind the public and decision makers that nurses deliver outstanding patient care all year round – and this time of year is no exception.
