BCNU respectfully acknowledges its offices are located on the traditional, unceded and ancestral lands of Indigenous communities across the lands now known as British Columbia.
The BCNU head office in Burnaby is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish) and səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil Waututh) nations whose historical relationships to the land continue to this day.
The BCNU Victoria office is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the lək̓ʷəŋiʔnəŋ (Songhees and Esquimalt) and W̱SÁNEĆ nations whose historical relationships to the land continue to this day.
The BCNU Okanagan Office is situated on the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the Syilx Okanagan Nation whose historical relationships to the land continue to this day.

West Kootenay Regional Executive Special Election Candidates
I'm a dedicated and passionate advocate for nurses and health care across the West Kootenays. I've worked in Acute care, Long Term Care and Community. I've also worked for the former College of LPNS. I bring a wealth of experience and deep commitment to improving workplace conditions and patient care.
In the Lobby Coordinator role I aim to enhance the visibility of nurses' contributions and advocate for essential policy changes that will benefit both nurses and the patients they serve. With a focus on collaboration and communication, I plan to work closely with union leadership, members, and community stakeholders to ensure that the voices of nurses are heard at all levels of government.

Hello, I’m Tamara Roscoe, your current WK Professional Responsibility Advocate and Interim Lobby Coordinator. Over the past year, I’ve proudly dedicated myself to supporting, advocating for, and engaging with our members throughout the region.
In my role on the executive team, I’ve actively contributed to our Mini Regionals, stood up for our collective agreement through the JUMM and JOHSC committees, and championed the voices of our members by lobbying for meaningful change. As WK Lobby Coordinator, I look forward to strengthening these efforts, building bridges within our local community, and working alongside politicians and regional authorities to support our shared goals.
