Foundations in Occupational Health and Safety
This course for member advocates delivers foundational skills to help advocates understand key safety concepts and develop a strategic focus to promote change.
The course includes modules on worker rights, employer and worker responsibilities, and union resources to help you promote workplace safety. The course will help advocates grow in confidence so they can better support their colleagues through collaborate action.
Course Format:
This is a blended learning course. It begins with online learner prep two weeks prior to the live session. During the session, members will complete activities and review 'just in time' online resources available to support them in fulfilling their role.
The courses are offered virtually, unless noted in the course name.
