A nominator of Maggie, Teri Forster, BCNU Regional Council Member, North West Region, says that during her time as a student, Maggie “worked to bring the rights of Indigenous and marginalized students to the forefront of her education institutions. She advocated for and subsequently co-chaired Aboriginal evening groups for students, staff and the community.”
