Crucial Conversations: On Demand

The Crucial Conversations course is now available online and on-demand! The on-demand format allows stewards take the course when it works best for them - anytime, anywhere!

This course provides BCNU stewards with the skills to master high-stakes conversations while remaining calm and professional. The methods taught will help transform your ability to communicate effectively, and with tact and diplomacy, when it counts the most. Whether in a professional or a personal context, the techniques are easy to learn and can be practised in small steps until mastered.

The two-day course can be completed between Feb. 1 to April 1, 2021. You will be salary reimbursed for two-days union leave, which you can schedule on your own to build your on-demand training around. Once you are registered, you will receive a pre-paid license from BCNU to access the course. Once you begin the training you have access to all the materials for 60 days, regardless of when you complete the course.
