Social Media and LEAP
Join BCNU for a one-hour virtual session on Monday, Feb. 24 at 12 noon to learn more about BCNU’s Licensing, Education, Advocacy Practice (LEAP) program and social media use best practices while employed as a nurse.
You’ll learn about the importance of adhering to professional standards when communicating through social networks and be provided with an overview of the LEAP program, which assists nurses with licensing issues, substance use disorders or other mental health challenges. The program also advocates for members who have received professional practice complaints through the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
Participants will be entered in a draw to win one of four funding gifts to support their studies.
This presentation is open to all BC student nurses, including non-BCNU student members.
