Skill Lab: Know your Workplace Safety Rights

Do you know your safety rights at work? This workshop surveys the four occupational health and safety rights protected under the Worker’s Compensation Act. These include your right to know about risks and hazards, your right to participate in workplace safety processes, your right to refuse unsafe work and your right to be free from discrimination. Participants explore how to exercise these rights to advocate for safer workplaces for BCNU members and all health-care workers.

This workshop is open to all stewards and members, including student members.
