On May 14 – Student Nurses Day – BCNU is hosting an informative one-hour webinar on the union’s commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion, truth and reconciliation, cultural safety and Indigenous-specific anti-racism.
Join us on to learn how these commitments have manifested in collective agreement language and other union initiatives that help strengthen a sense of belonging and foster solidarity among members.
The webinar is open to all BC student nurses, including non-BCNU student members. Participants will be entered in a draw to win one of four prizes of $250 to support their studies.
Student Nurses Day is part of the Canadian Nurses Association’s National Nursing Week activities, which take place from May 12-18, 2025. The week is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the hard work and dedication of nurses across Canada and around the world.
