Regional NBA Bargaining Strategy Conference

In preparation for next year's bargaining, the BCNU invites members covered under the Nurses? Bargaining Association (NBA) contract to attend this one-day meeting in your region.

Led by Cody Hedman, BCNU's Chief Executive Officer and Chief Negotiator for the NBA, these bargaining conferences are another opportunity for members to identify top bargaining priorities and outcomes for which members would be prepared for job action if necessary. Members will also hear about the current bargaining climate and the process of bargaining.

Other meeting objectives include the selection of delegates and alternates to the Provincial Bargaining Conference; and the nomination and election of candidates from your region to run for positions on the NBA Bargaining* and Provincial Job Action Committees. Please note that as per Article 7.04 of the BCNU Constitution & Bylaws, at least one (1) member will be allowed to attend from each worksite.

IMPORTANT: Due to pandemic related issues, the West Kootenay Regional Bargaining Conference on Thursday, September 23 will be converted to 100% virtual only (using Zoom).
