BCNU is a non-partisan and politically active organization. As part of our political action policies, BCNU offers support to our members who run for election, if they meet criteria determined by the BCNU Executive and Council. (BCNU Members' candidate funding for elections Policy #5.1.29 attached and available on the BCNU website at https://memberportal.bcnu.org/ under the Member Portal).

To receive support you must:

  • Be a dues paying member in good standing
  • Support the BCNU Mission Statement, Core Values and Core Beliefs
  • Support policies that improve patient care and the publicly funded, delivered and administered healthcare system
  • Complete an APPLICATION FOR BCNU SUPPORT for November 15, 2014 municipal election (Application attached or see the BCNU website www.bcnu.org) and return your completed application to BCNU offices no later than 5:00pm on Friday, August 22, 2014
     

Successful applicants will be notified by Friday, September 15, 2014.
