BC Nurses' Union Holds Town Hall in Nanaimo
BCNU President Debra McPherson will host a town hall in Nanaimo tonight to inform the public about patient safety and how it's being impacted by the new care model.
A former nurse will present disturbing details about what happened to her father when he was a patient at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Speakers will also include RN Hazel Magnussen, author of The Moral Work of Nursing.
Audience participation is welcome and there will be a Q and A following short presentations from the speakers.
