CBC survey for RNs working in acute care hospitals
BCNU is encouraging RNs to participate in a survey prepared by CBC News, to help gather information about the quality of care provided by Canadian hospitals. The survey is also being sent to members of other provincial nurses' unions who belong to the Canadian Federation of Nurses' Unions.
The survey was developed with a team of leading nurse researchers for an upcoming CBC special report on The Fifth Estate. The survey asks for your perceptions and opinions about the quality and safety of care at the hospital where you work. It also asks for your perceptions and opinions about working conditions. The CBC made the decision to focus on RNs who provide direct patient care in hospitals. If this describes you, please fill out the survey.
The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Your answers will be treated in confidence. No one in your hospital will know that you have filled out the survey. If you have any questions or concerns please contact hospitals@cbc.ca.
When answering the questions, think about the hospital and/or work area where you spend most of your work hours.
Fill out the survey here.
The deadline for responses is Monday February 4.
