Celebrate BCNU Day and Win!

Join BCNU in celebrating 32 years of strength. On this day in 1981, nurses from across the province gathered at the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria, B.C., and made nursing history. From this day forward, the newly-formed British Columbia Nurses' Union would be legally separated from the Registered Nurses' Association of British Columbia, paving the way for your current, member-driven, grassroots activism to flourish.

This is a day to celebrate all of the milestones BCNU has achieved, and to rally and encourage solidarity amongst us all. Log on to the Member Portal, and you'll find a link to the BCNU Day quiz. Complete it, and you'll be entered to win the new iPad Mini!

Who's eligible?

• All dues-paying members (excluding members of Council, the Provincial Executive, and non-dues paying Student and Associate Members).

What do I have to do?

• Complete the online quiz, include your email address, and you'll be entered to win!
• Only those entries that have included their full name and email address will be considered (no work email addresses please).

Where can I find the quiz?

• On the BCNU Member Portal, under 'Quick Links'.
• Register today! All you need is your BCNU ID number or the last four digits of your SIN to register yourself on the Member Portal. Once inside, you'll find a link to the quiz.

When can I take it?

• The quiz will be live on the Member Portal beginning June 4, and will be open until midnight,
• June 21.

Why should I take the quiz?

• To give yourself the chance to win your very own iPad Mini!

How will the winner be chosen?

• This will be a completely random draw, including only those who have completed the quiz and provided their contact information. On Wednesday, June 26, 2012, the winner will be contacted via the email address they have provided. Once the recipient has been confirmed, the results will be posted on the Member Portal.
