Nominations Committee Election Reminder: Deadline for Nominations is January 18

Members wishing to run for positions on the BCNU Nominations Committee are reminded that the nomination form submission deadline is January 18.

Candidates for the Nominations Committee can hold no BCNU office above that of steward and must not be seen to be supporting any candidate in provincial or regional BCNU elections.

The election for Nominations Committee members will be held at BCNU's annual convention. Terms begin April 1, 2013 and run until August 31, 2016.

All nominations must be submitted on the BCNU's official Nominations Committee nomination form or a facsimile thereof.

Forms must be received at the BCNU office in Burnaby by 5:00 pm on January 18, 2013. Please ensure your envelope is clearly marked "Nomination Form" and addressed Mabel Tung, Chair of the Democracy in the Union Committee. Material received after this deadline will not be accepted.
