Nanaimo nurses and BCNU President Debra McPherson will deliver a giant card, plus thousands more petitions to Island Health's board meeting Thursday. Nurses will demand Island Health stop treating Nanaimo patients like second class citizens and start putting safe patient care first.
Before the meeting, BCNU will hold a family fun day for nurses and supporters at Nanaimo's Maffeo Sutton Park.
