WIN A PASS to the 4th International Conference on Violence in the Health Sector

Workplace violence is a significant issue facing BCNU members. Between 12 - 14% of accepted WorkSafeBC claims are as a result of violent incidents.

Many members are taking steps to make their workplaces safe from violence. If you are a current BCNU member and you have:

Demonstrated leadership in the area of workplace violence prevention;
Served as an effective role model and advocate for other BCNU members with respect to violence prevention or;
Taken initiative on a specific local issue in order to address violence in your workplace

BCNU wants to hear from you and recognize your work.

By completing the online application form on the Member Portal, you will be entered into a contest and may be selected to attend the 4th International Conference on Violence in the Health Sector in Miami, Florida, from October 22nd - 24th. Up to 4 members will be selected to attend the conference and will have their conference fees and expenses covered (no salary replacement). Note: Members who have submitted a poster or abstract to the conference will be given priority.
