BCNU Introduces Leadership Awards
BCNU is proud to introduce two new leadership awards that recognize and celebrate members who make a difference to the health and well-being of their community and their profession.
The Excellence in Leadership and Advocacy Award and The NU Leader Award will honour members for outstanding achievements in BCNU-focused advocacy and social justice activism. The launch of the awards comes as the World Health Organization declares 2020 as The Year of the Nurse.
The Excellence in Leadership and Advocacy Award will honour a dues-paying member in good standing, while the NU Leader Award will honour a student member or member with under five years nursing experience.
Both awards are to be presented for the first time at the upcoming 2020 Convention in June and each recipient will receive $1,000 and additional benefits of recognition.
