BCNU Donates to BC Flood Relief
BCNU is making a $10,000 donation to the British Columbia Floods and Extreme Weather Appeal through the BC Nurses' Union Fund held at the Vancouver Foundation.
The Canadian Red Cross is working closely with community leadership and all levels of government on how to best support people who have been evacuated from their homes due to flooding, mudslides, and extreme weather in British Columbia. The money will go towards providing financial assistance, cots, blankets, and family reunification services.
BCNU has a history of supporting its members and communities in times of need. With thousands of British Columbians in need of support, BCNU members are encouraged to share this donation opportunity with their friends and family.
Donate here. All donations over $25 receive a tax receipt.
All donations made through the BC Nurses' Union fund will go directly to the Canadian Red Cross; the Vancouver Foundation covers all administration, credit card and service provider processing fees that may otherwise be charged to the charity of choice.
