Members Celebrate BCNU Day

More than forty years ago, on June 11, 1981, the Empress Hotel in Victoria welcomed two hundred nurses to BCNU's founding convention. Ever since that memorable day, June 11 has been known as BCNU Day.

To help celebrate our union's anniversary, all members are invited to test their knowledge with the BCNU Day Quiz - your chance to learn more about a variety of topics including BCNU's upcoming steward elections and how the union is responding to the calls to action from Canada's Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Starting today through June 11, all members can log in to the BCNU Member Portal and complete the quiz for a chance to win an Apple Watch Series 7 - one prize will be awarded per BCNU region! Every member who submits a completed quiz will be entered to win the random prize draw.

The BCNU Day Quiz is available from Tuesday, May 31 through BCNU Day on Saturday, June 11!

1. Login to the BCNU Member Portal.
2. Find the quiz link on the landing page, under the "Quick Links" section.
3. Submit your responses and be entered to win the random draw.
