Evaluation of Professional Responsibility Process Underway
BCNU is encouraging members covered by the 2019-2022 Nurses' Bargaining Association (NBA) provincial collective agreement to provide feedback on the revised process to address professional practice-related problems in the workplace through a new survey developed by a third-party organization, Organizational Solutions Inc. (OSI).
As part of Appendix KK – Memorandum of Agreement, Professional Responsibility Process, members of the Professional Responsibility Working Group (PRWG) including representatives from both BCNU and the Health Employers Association of BC (HEABC) committed to the development of a provincial evaluation plan to assess both the new professional responsibility (PR) process and the revised professional responsibility form (PRF). The parties agreed that the expertise of OSI would be beneficial to complete this assessment and have contracted the organization to finalize the PR process evaluation plan, approach, and survey.
