BCNU Elections 2023: Nominations Open

Members in good standing are welcome to submit their nomination form to run in this year's provincial and regional elections

Starting May 8, BCNU members can submit their nomination to run in the 2023 BCNU elections for the union's provincial or regional executive committees.

Any member in good standing who wishes to run for any position can submit their nomination form between 12 p.m. noon PDT on May 8 and 12 p.m. noon PDT on May 24. Nominations must be submitted electronically, and the form is available on the BCNU Member Portal.

Nomination forms will be received for the following provincial executive positions:

  • President
  • Vice-President
  • Treasurer
  • Executive Councillor - Occupational Health & Safety and Mental Health
  • Executive Councillor - Pensions and Seniors Health

Nomination forms will be received for the following regional executive positions:

  • Regional Council Member
  • Communications Secretary
  • Lobby Coordinator
  • Mental Health Representative
  • Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Representative
  • Professional Responsibility Advocate
  • Steward Liaison
  • Treasurer
