Members Elect New Provincial Treasurer in Special Election
Successful candidate announced
The voting period for BCNU's special election for provincial treasurer closed at 12 noon PST on Dec. 1. Sharon Sponton has been confirmed elected as provincial treasurer and will serve on the union’s Provincial Executive Committee.
The results of the special election have been published on the Special Election: Provincial Treasurer web page. The new provincial treasurer's term will begin as soon as possible and ends on Aug. 31, 2026.
