Union to Sponsor Five Members to Attend International Nursing Conference
This year, BCNU is celebrating National Nursing Week by sponsoring five members to attend the International Council of Nurses (ICN) Congress in Montreal from July 1-5, 2023. BCNU has dedicated one sponsorship for an Indigenous nurse and one for a student nurse who will also have the opportunity to attend the Student Assembly on June 30.
The theme of this year’s ICN Congress is “Nurses Together: a Force for Global Health”. This in-person event will bring together nurses from around the world. Attendees will learn, share, and network in order to build a better future for the nursing workforce and our health care systems. As the world’s largest international nursing event, the ICN Congress is a global platform to gather and empower the nursing community.
