Celebrate National Nursing Week with the BCNU

All BCNU nurses are invited to submit an expression of interest

The BC Nurses' Union is celebrating and honouring nurses and the nursing profession during National Nursing Week by offering two spots to the Royal College of Nursing* International Centenary Conference November 22-23, 2016 in London, England. This opportunity is offered as part of BCNU's new Professional Practice & Advocacy department activities.

In addition to conference registration, all travel, accommodation and meal expenses will be provided as per BCNU policy however, there is no salary replacement.

To be considered you will be required to meet the following criteria:

• Submit a 300-word expression of interest (EOI) online by 1700 on Friday April 22, 2016 - detailing why you would like to be considered for this opportunity and how this conference will enhance your nursing practice.
• Agree to have your EOI and photo be included in BCNU marketing materials, such as the website and social media.
• Agree to be interviewed after the conference for BCNU's Update magazine, sharing your experience and learnings.
• Ability to travel to London for the conference dates November 22-23, 2016.

This competition is now closed. The provincial executive will select the successful applicants and names will be announced during National Nursing Week on Tuesday, May 10.
