Sharon Sponton Appointed Provincial Treasurer

Sponton will assume her new responsibilities on September 1, 2016, when she takes over from current treasurer Mabel Tung, who has tendered her resignation effective that date.

Sponton currently serves as chair of the BCNU's North West region and was elected to BCNU council in 2010. She will continue to act as a regional chair before joining the union's provincial executive committee later this year.
