Day two of BCNU’s 2022 convention saw Executive Councillor for Occupational Health & Safety, Aida Herrera take the podium to address delegates gathered for the first in-person convention since 2019. She opened her presentation with heartfelt thanks to the teams of highly skilled professionals.

Human Rights and Equity Committee Members Meet
On Nov. 3, the Indigenous Leadership Circle, LGBTQ, Mosaic of Colour Caucus and Workers with Disabilities Caucus, the Men in Nursing network and the Young Nurses' Network each held lunchtime meetings. Click read more below for a photo gallery.
Members Debate Bylaws
Thursday afternoon saw lively discussion as convention delegates debated proposed amendments to BCNU’s Constitution and Bylaws. Debate was carried over to the next day of the convention.
Convention Banquet
BCNU’s 2022 Leadership Awards were presented to recipients by BCNU President Aman Grewal. Congratulations to Maggie Biagioni, recipient of the NU Leader Award, and Adigo Angela Achoba-Omajali, recipient of Excellence in Leadership & Advocacy Award.
