Human Rights and Equity Conference 2020
In the Wake: Pandemics and Public Health
BCNU hosted the 2020 Human Rights and Equity Conference virtually on Thursday, November 26. The conference brought members together for professional development and to learn about social justice issues that affect the nursing profession.
The theme of this year's conference centered on the many health, social and political issues that have arisen in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The conference offered members an opportunity to engage in dialogue on these and other related issues and to reflect collectively on how to shape our future as nurses, health care workers and union activists.
A number of speakers have graciously allowed their HRE 2020 conference presentations to be recorded. The recordings are intended for educational listening purposes only. No permission is implied or granted for anyone to copy, share, download, edit or redistribute for their own purposes. As such, any unauthorized partial or full reproduction, download, modification or transfer to another site is forbidden.
