Live Webinar: Cultivating Agency When Systems Fail Us
All members are encouraged to join renowned somatic educators Anita Chari and Angelica Singh at a special May 10 noon-hour webinar, where they will explore tools to help nurses prioritize health and cultivate personal and collective agency. Amid widespread nursing shortages and feelings of overwhelm, how can nurses find tools for empowerment in addition to the tools they have for coping within a flawed health-care system? Cultivating Agency When Systems Fail Us complements the Embodying Your Practice on-demand member education course. Register here.
ICN Congress 2023
To celebrate National Nursing Week, BCNU is sponsoring five members to attend the International Council of Nurses (ICN) Congress conference in Montreal from July 1 - 5, 2023. A student member will also attend the Student Assembly on June 30.
Congratulations to the five members selected: Gabrielle Down, Liam Teetzel, Kim Magnant, Raymond Li, and Karen Evans.
These members will join the global nursing community for an enriching program of live sessions and unique speakers gathering to build on lessons learned from the pandemic; from protecting nurses’ rights and ensuring decent working conditions, to fair pay and driving nursing leadership.
